⚠️ Different Ecosystem Choice

Option C uses UniFi Protect for CCTV — not Hikvision.

This is a deliberate architecture choice. UniFi Protect enables native off-site backup (Protect Archiving) and tighter integration with the network infrastructure. Options A & B use Hikvision because it's simpler and you can manage it independently. Option C requires the unified UniFi ecosystem to deliver the Portal and AI capabilities.

You cannot mix and match. Option C is a different path, not an add-on to Options A or B.

This is why Option C uses UniFi Protect instead of Hikvision. Native off-site backup without the pain.
